Æ provides support and guidance for federal and state regulatory requirements where ethnohistoric archival research and ethnographic study and analysis are key components of cultural resource management. Our subject matter experts are also skilled in graphic design for various public-facing arenas including interpretive signage and media materials.
Æ’s staff is experienced in both public and privileged/ confidential outreach, crowdsourcing for data input and consensus, as well as digital data management and curation of special collections.
Our ethnographic team uses collaborative and reciprocal research methods including unobtrusive direct observation, structured and unstructured interviewing, analysis of texts, and audio-visual records.
